How to link an Operator (waitron) to your UBU Manager app

You’ve added your waiters/managers/operators to your dashboard, now what? How do they take orders and payments?

Connecting your Operators to your UBU Vendor Manager app allows your staff to process and manage orders that come in via the app.

Follow these easy steps below. There is also an explainer video that shows how it all works.

Step 3:

  • Your Operators will need to click on the unique link that opens the login page of the UBU Vendor Manager app
  • Using your login details, open the UBU Vendor Manager app
  • NOTE: Make sure you can see YOUR Vendor logo at the top of the screen. In this case, it is “Marlow Bakes the World a Better place”

Step 4:

  • Your Operators will now be able to view all orders, with the most recent orders at the top
  • Note: When an order comes in you will receive a notification, and a sound will play 
  • Tapon the new order that you’ve just received and you’ll see what menu items your customer has ordered and whether they have selected Pay & Collect or Pay & Deliver 
  • Now you, or your Operator (waitron), have the option to “Accept” or  “Decline” the order 
  • NOTE: Declining an order automatically refunds the customer

Step 5:

  • Once you or an Operator accepts the order, they will have to choose the time required for preparation of that order
  • And once the order is ready, your Operator will need to update and notify the customer by  tapping on the “Ready for Pickup” button
