How to create tickets to a physical event

Here's how to setup your account to sell tickets to a physical event.

If you want to sell tickets to a physical event, the process is slightly different from creating tickets for a streaming event. 

Physical tickets are regarded as a product and so need to be added to your product catalogue. To do this, follow these steps:

Step 1:
Log in to your dashboard https://dashboard.ubu.world/login
Step 2:
  • Select 'Master catalogue', the 4th icon in the left-hand navigation bar. Notebook 
  • To add a category, click the ‘Add New’ button on the right-hand side add_new_button
  • Enter the category name inside the ‘Name’ field. E.g. Live Shows
  • Once you have finished, click the ‘Save’ button   Save_button
Step 3:
  • It’s time to add the tickets to the event.
  • Click on your newly created category and you will be taken to a screen where you can add your event details.
Step 4:
  • Click the ‘Add New Item’ button on the right. add new item button
  • Check the box that says ‘Ticket'. ticket
  • Then enter your event details in the relevant boxes, such as name, description, price and event date. You can also upload an image for your event.
  • When you enter the event date you will be asked to select the start date and time as well as the end date and time.
  • Please make sure these details are correct and then click on 'Apply'. apply
  • Once you have done this, click the ‘Save’ button. Save_button
  • Repeat these steps if you have different price points for your tickets.
Step 5:
  • Congratulations! You have now created your physical event ticket.
  • This is what your event sale will look like in the Marketplace.
