Vendors: How to add your staff as Operators

Add your waiters, managers or anyone who needs to see and manage your business transactions or payments for you.

What is an Operator?
This is anyone in your business who needs to process payments and or orders using the UBU platform on their own cell phone. For example, waiters, managers, retail assistants, delivery drivers etc. 

Follow these easy steps below to add your staff to your UBU dashboard so that they can view and manage transactions that are made using a UBU powered Wallet.

Step 1:

Step 2:

  • Select the 3rd icon AddOperator_Agentsicon in the left-hand navigation bar
  • Click on the “New Operator” AddOperator_newoperator button

Step 3:

  • Add all the information required and click the “Save” AddOperator_SaveButtonbutton
  • Remember: When entering the Operator password it must contain 8 NUMBERS
  • Once you have entered the Operator password, click save.
  • Note: You can’t edit the Operator ID here

Step 4:

  • You will now be able to see the operator you added to your account.
  • NOTE: To activate an operator so that they can take and process orders, you now need to link them to the UBU Vendor Manager app

Step 5:

  • Download the UBU Vendor Manager app, if you have not done so yet.       appstore playsttore
                                                               OR
  • Share the first link (e.g. link: http://onelink.to/c67ucp) on your dashboard with the mobile device of your new operator/s. On the operator’s mobile device, click on the link and you’ll be directed to where you can download the UBU Vendor Manager app.
